What is Legionella

Legionella is a bacteria found in water that will grow and multiply in quantity if a system with favourable conditions is not maintained correctly. Infection occurs when the bacteria becomes atomised and is inhaled into the lungs. Everyone is susceptible and it is therefore important to ensure all necessary controls are put in place.
Aquasafe Building Services Ltd is a member of the Legionella Control Association and our engineers hold membership with the highly respectable Water Management Society. Our extensive training, coupled with a vast wealth of experience allows us to offer assessment and guidance to our customers on how best to manage the risk of bacterial growth within any type of water system.
We do this on both a domestic and commercial front with our current clients ranging from council authorities to local landlords.
